The UK Vape Industry Association (UKVIA) recently released a comprehensive sustainable e-cigarette green map, which aims to provide a clear sustainable development direction for the e-cigarette industry, as well as provide guidance for the government, public health agencies and consumers. a frame of reference.
The green map covers six main areas of the e-cigarette industry, namely product quality and safety, environmental impact, social responsibility, industry standards and norms, innovation and R&D, and education and publicity. UKVIA said the green map was developed on the basis of industry-wide consultation and reflects the shared vision and commitment of the vaping industry. The association hopes that the green map will enhance the credibility and transparency of the e-cigarette industry, while also encouraging more smokers to switch to healthier alternatives.
UKVIA also called on the government and public health agencies to support the green map and work with the e-cigarette industry to jointly promote the sustainable development of e-cigarettes to achieve the UK’s smoke-free goal.
